INTRODUCTION
This Muslim institutional building consists of 13 nos. of new SAKJ Fasa 5 within the state of Johor are designed by MRH Rashidi Architect. The architect has designed by enhancing the relation of triangle (connectivity) and 'Nadi' (Blok Pentadbiran) as main aspect of overall design. Each SAKJ model will be adapted to various site conditions and it will have Blok Pentadbiran, Blok Akademik, Dewan Perhimpunan as primary spaces while be supported by secondary spaces such as Kantin and Tadika.
JOB SCOPE
My involvement in this project started from 2017 at early construction stage until CPC stage for most schools. Each project has various challenges to overcome as Assistant Architect as each site and contractor has different problems to be tackled. Every items and costs need to be taken as part of consideration in order to meet with client needs as well obliged to authority's requirement.
In fulfilling the responsibility in handling the project, it includes; Attend and handling Technical and Site Meeting, Liaise with clients, design team and authority to meet with project's requirement and also on drafting technical and conceptual drawings. The job scope covered on :
a. Design Development Phase ; prepare and submit drawings for buildings approval, update on project planning and implementation schedule,
b. Contract and Documentation Phase ; prepare contract documents together with dother consultants for signature by client and contractor,
c. Contract Implementation and Management Phase ; advise client related to contract management (contractor, project cost and planning), provide information and instruction to contractor, inspect the works to ensure it is executed as per stated in building contract, recommend the issue of EOT, V.O., CPC
